April – The Month of #getbalance

This month, our theme is #getbalance so we’ve taken our Manifesto and broken it down into bite-sized chunks to help you out.

For us, balance is important in life and we can’t be doing all of the things all of the time because there’s just so much going on that we have NO control over.

So we like to keep things as simple as possible.

Because in simplicity we learn to find our own unique and individual balance.

What works for one person doesn’t necessarily work for another.

Too often, when it comes to implementing healthy changes, many people try to change everything.

“I’m going to juice twice a day, every day.”

“I’m going to workout at least 6 times a week for 90 minutes.”

“I’m going to . . . . . . ” and the list goes on.

That’s also why we have implemented a number of changes to our program, starting with the nutrition side of things.

When we first opened up, we used to do a “compulsory” 3-day juice cleanse with people because we believe that juicing is a great way to give the body a rest whilst providing it with what it needs to do what it has to do.

But we saw how some people struggled. We saw how some people just didn’t gel well with juicing.

So we reduced it to 2 days.

And now, we’ve introduced new menus which means that you can choose to eat each and every day during your stay to find what works for you.

Yes, you still have the choice to juice if you want to but some people just operate better on “solid food” and for that reason, it’s a lot easier to find your own balance.

Healthy living isn’t about the extremes.

It’s about keeping things SIMPLE so that they’re easier to stick to when life does what life does.

What does BALANCE mean to you ?
